- Maresfield Parish Council represents the villages of Maresfield,
Nutley and Fairwarp, including Duddleswell, Horney Common and parts of
the Ashdown Forest. The Council meets monthly (usually the third
Tuesday of the month) and details of the meetings can be found on this
website and on the various village notice boards.
Maresfield Parish is in the area served by Wealden District Council,
which in turn comes under East Sussex County Council.

Meetings, your Parish Councillors have additional responsibilities for
specific areas of the parish's planning applications, and as Chairmen
and representatives on various committees both on the Parish Council and
on other local administrative bodies and organizations. Some of these
